For Pizza Base
500 gms Flour
1 tablespoon Yeast
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 pinch Salt
For topping:
500 gms finely pureed Tomatoes
1 large finely pureed Carrot
2 large finely diced Onion
10 finely chopped Garlic
2 Bay leaf
Fresh Basil
Akshayakalpa Mild Cheddar and Pizza Cheese
Akshayakalpa Organic Butter
Himalayan Salt and Pepper

    Prepare the pizza dough by making a well in the flour and add in the yeast along with sugar and knead well. Let it sit in a warm corner and allow to prove and rise.

    Prepare the topping sauce by sautéing the garlic in butter followed by onions until translucent. Add the bay leaves and the tomato puree followed by carrot puree. Add sugar, pepper and salt and simmer until sauce thickens. Add chopped Basil and Oregano. Stir well and let it cool.

    Take the dough and flatten out onto a baking tray. Spoon the tomato sauce onto the pizza base and spread it around. Place slices or grate the Pizza cheese and Cheddar cheese all over and sprinkle some basil leaves and oregano onto the pizza. Drizzle with Extra Virgin cold pressed olive oil.

    Place the tray in a preheated oven and bake for about 4-8 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is brown.
